Many roads lead to Kühlungsborn

By car...

... you can reach Kühlungsborn from the west via the A20 and the descents "Kröpelin" or "Bad Doberan". Also possible is the early departure "Wismar/Insel Poel" with a further journey on the B105 to Neubukow, from here you can follow the signs easily. From the south take the A19 and then the A20-possible descents are: "Bad Doberan" or "Kröpelin".

 

 

By train...

... drive first to Rostock and get into a train, which takes you to Bad Doberan in 30 minutes. Then begins the romantic part of your journey: the historic steam locomotive "Molli" takes you in 45 minutes to Kühlungsborn. There are stations in Kühlungsborn east and west as well as the "Breakpoint Center". The journey by train is also possible via the places Neubukow and Kröpelin. Drive on to Kühlungsborn via regional traffic.

By airplane...

Arrive at the Rostock airport, Rostock-Laage. From Stuttgart and Cologne/Bonn the airport Rostock-Laage is be served all year round with Germanwings. There are also regular connections to and from Munich with Lufthansa. Eurotours International, a tour operator from Austria, flies in the summer months from Linz to Rostock-Laage. The extended flight offer in summer also offers the possibility to use the aforementioned airports as a transit port and, for example, to travel from Austria, England or Belgium. There are car rental stations at the airport too. The following companies are based there: Sixt, Hertz, Europcar, Avis and Caro. Taxis and the bus line 127 are also available.

By bus...

...take bus number 121 from ZOB Rostock to Kühlungsborn. If you arrive by plane, take the 127 line from Rostock/Laage airport to Rostock Central Station.

By ferry...

Ferries from Gedser (DK), Trelleborg (S) or Helsinki (FIN) enter the harbour of Rostock. From here further bus and train connections are available.
