The Ostseestern (Baltic Star) Hotel was built in 1906 in the style of the old Spa architecture. It consists of the basement and two storeys with 22 tastefully furnished guest rooms. They are equipped with shower/WC/hairdryer, cable TV, telephone, WLAN, room safe and refrigerator. The architecture, typical of its period, with its sweeping gables and its interior Meditteranean charm, give the hotel its special character. In the '30s, the house was given an extension at the side which today houses the Famagusta restaurant which will spoil you with its Cypriot specialities. The house lies between the beach promenade and the local forest which gave the Baltic spa town of Kuehlungsborn its fame as the "Green Town on the Sea." Guests can go direct from their room to the beach in their dressing gowns without any embarrassment.
